Also, even halogen lights get less bright over time, but there are LED headlight replacement bulbs- we bought ours from an Amazon vendor, and they're brighter than some OEM high beams I've used.
Be careful on the way they're oriented though, because if they're installed upside down, they'll less effective.
It happened to us after I hit a deer and the collision shop put one back in upside down.
Keep in mind that LEDs are polarity sensitive so if they're installed with reverse polarity, they won't work (unless they have a module that will allow you to connect it either way and it will direct the proper polarity to the LED elements).
