Default Variable intermittent wipers.

I dislike the intermittent wiper system on my 2016 Fit. The service manual wiring diagrams show the inputs the number of wires and wire colors going into the wiper switch are identical to a 2016 HR-V with variable intermittent wipers. I bought the HR-V variable wiper switch and installed it into my 2016 Fit. Low and high speed work normally but, the intermittently only works at one speed.
Has anybody tried this modification? Thank you!

The Fit only has one setting for the intermittent wiper. Just replacing the switch with an HR-V switch that has a potentiometer (variable resistor knob) won't give you the ability to vary the time intervals of the intermittent mode. The HR-V has an intermittent module that can alter the intervals whereas the Fit does not so just changing the switch won't make it work. It's no different than installing a steering wheel from a Fit Sport with paddle shifters on a Base model and expecting to be able to manually shift from the paddle shifters. Sorry but that's the way it is.
