Default Transmission position indicator display

This issue pertains to my 2015 Fit. The transmission position indicator light that is located at the bottom of the tachometer on the left side of the dash blinks continuously in every transmission position. Also, it does not display a P, R, N D or S while blinking. Rather, Every part of the display is lit up simultaneously. I connected in 0BDII scanner, but no trouble codes were stored. Does anybody know what could be causing this situation?

Was the scanner a "generic" scanner? Most "code readers" will only display powertrain codes, that is the P0xxx format codes, whereas the problem you're having with the dash display is probably "body" related which is usually Cxxxx codes or Uxxxx codes if it's network related. You'd need either the factory scan tool or a professional aftermarket scanner that supports instrument panel, body computer, etc. besides powertrain. Those are made by OTC, Snap-on, Autel, etc. Lots of choices out there but none of them are cheap by DIY standards, so you won't find a $100 one.
